Yesterday’s 551 COVID-19 tests resulted in 275 positive outcomes, according to the latest figures from the Chief Medical Officer.

During the last 7 days a total of 1,050 new COVID-19 cases have been registered. Currently there are 6 hospitalizations with COVID-19, 2 hospitalizations because of COVID-19 and a total of 31 COVID-19 related fatalities have been registered in the country.

Since the Faroese Hospital System is no longer mass testing for COVID-19, this is our last announcement of the infection numbers for the Faroe Islands.
